Positive Customer Experiences at Italy In Town
Reviewers frequently praise Italy In Town for both its food and its inviting atmosphere. Many customers appreciate the generous portions, which leave guests feeling satisfied and happy. Amy E., for instance, shared how the food was "amazing," noting the sizable servings and the chance to enjoy quality family time despite a small delay in service. The 5-minute wait between dishes did not diminish the overall experience, as she loved the taste and portion sizes.
Another customer, Geri F., remarked on the elegant setting, mentioning how it’s perfect for a romantic dinner by the window. Though Geri found the food to be “good” rather than exceptional, the combination of ambiance and service made the experience memorable. The staff’s attention to detail and the cozy setting are regularly mentioned as contributing to a delightful evening out.
Similarly, Emily M. spoke highly of the restaurant’s ambiance, particularly for date nights, and lauded the calamari, calling it some of the best she had ever tasted. Her meal of chicken parm with Alfredo was also praised for being exceptionally delicious. She did mention the restroom's small size and lack of a changing table, but this minor detail didn’t detract from the overall positive dining experience.
Reviews
While visiting another restaurant recommended this place. We called ahead to see wait time, glad we did. Made a reservation and got a romantic table by the window. This is a delightfully, elegant small restaurant. Great for date night, though saw families here as well. We had manicotti, Parmesan chicken. Nothing outstanding just good food. Service was a little slow, but meal was hot when delivered. I didn't ask but it seemed like it's made to order. We did order my hubby's favorite: Crème Brûlée and it was delicious. Wish it was bigger to share.
This is a small but elegant restaurant. Great for date night. Street parking. The calamari was some of the best I've had. Ordered the chicken parm with Alfredo instead of marinara and angel hair pasta. Very, very delicious. Something I didn't keep in mind until having a baby, there is no changing table in the restroom. Very small bathroom. Just noting if you have a baby.
Great food and my family's favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Recommended to anyone who likes quality food.
This was our first time eating there. My wife and I and 2 kids along with a couple that we are friends with. The food was amazing. I was worried they don't have a kids menu but they do half portions of the adult entrees for half the price. Drinks are only 2 bucks so that's surprising as well. Will definitely return
The food here was amazing. The service was good but honestly a little slow. I was there to visit with family so it wasn't a huge deal. Entrees came out one by one with about a 5 min lag for each one. By the time we waited on each other's food mine was not very warm. Didn't stop me from eating it but from the first plate to the last it was about 15 mins. Portions were very generous. I had plenty to take home.
